New Life in Christ
A Christ-Centered Recovery Curriculum for Women
King James Version
by Laura Sias
There are seasons when life does not simply change—it breaks.
A marriage fractures. Trust collapses. The future you planned disappears. And in the quiet aftermath, a woman is left holding questions heavier than words: Who am I now? Where is God in this? How do I begin again?
New Life in Christ was written for that sacred and painful place.
This 41+ lesson spiral-bound workbook walks with women through the deep waters of betrayal, emotional and verbal abuse, grief, shame, fear, and rebuilding. Rooted in the King James Version of Scripture, it offers more than encouragement—it offers a steady, Christ-centered path from brokenness toward healing, dignity, and lasting hope.
Each lesson invites women to bring their whole hearts into the light of God’s Word: the fog of grief, the ache of a crushed spirit, the struggle to trust again, the practical weight of starting over, and the quiet longing for peace. Through biblical teaching, personal reflection, coping tools, and gentle application, women are guided to rediscover their worth not in what was lost, but in the unchanging love of Christ.
Designed for personal study, small groups, and ministry settings, this lay-flat workbook makes space for honest tears, real questions, and Spirit-led renewal. It does not rush the healing process. It does not minimize the wound. It simply points, again and again, to the God who restores.
You are not forgotten.
You are not disqualified.
You are not alone.
A new life in Christ is possible.

A message from the author:
I know what it is to watch a life you loved collapse.
After discovering a year-long online affair and walking through the painful unraveling of my marriage, I found myself in a place I never expected—heartbroken, disoriented, and unsure how to begin again. The grief was heavy. The shame was quiet but crushing. And the future felt uncertain in a way I could not fix with strength alone.
In that season, God met me.
Not with quick answers, but with His Word. Not with denial of the pain, but with steady mercy that met me in it. As I walked through the fog of grief, the rebuilding of identity, and the long work of healing, a burden began to grow in my heart for other women facing the same hidden devastation—women wounded by emotional and verbal abuse, betrayal, separation, and the silence that so often surrounds it.
New Life in Christ was born out of that place.
This 41+ lesson spiral-bound workbook is the curriculum I wish had been placed in my hands when everything felt broken. Rooted in the King James Version of Scripture, it walks with women through the real places of pain: grief, anger, shame, fear, powerlessness, concern for children, financial strain, and the deep ache of starting over. More than that, it points to the God who restores dignity, renews strength, and brings hope where despair once lived.
These lessons are not theory to me. They were lived first.
If you are holding this book in a season of heartbreak or transition, I want you to know this: you are not forgotten, you are not disqualified, and you are not alone. God is still able to write a new chapter. And I believe, with all my heart, that a new life in Christ is possible for you.
